Orange Honey Teriyaki Chicken. This was a bit too sweet on the first day but REALLY improved the second. The thigh meat was the right choice, absorbed the flavour overnight and a great texture.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup (59 ml) low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup (79 ml) fresh orange juice (about 3 small oranges)
  • 2 tablespoons mirin
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons finely grated fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 3/4 pounds (794 grams) skinless, boneless chicken thighs
  • 2 teaspoons orange zest (optional)
